	Patrick Carruthers Heavy Equipment Instructor
After serving honorably for 20 years as a Navy Seabee Patrick retired and joined OCC's training staff as a heavy equipment operations instructor. During his military career he served as a heavy equipment operator and also gained valuable knowledge and skills in other crafts such as electrical, steelwork, plumbing, diesel mechanic, building construction and surveying. Patrick is an NCCER certified heavy equipment operations instructor.


	Scotty Gecks Instructor
Scotty has a BA in Psychology from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. He is certified by the National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) as a Master Trainer and Heavy Equipment Operations Instructor. Scotty began his career in construction in 1964 with Halliburton in Duncan, Oklahoma. His experience includes inland and offshore oilfield construction, utility, and civil construction.
